Individual Skill Development and Enhancement

I was born and raised in Adams, Wisconsin, surrounded by a large, loving family. My early years were filled with structure, support, and the joy of participating in sports and activities like fishing. I was fortunate to have meaningful experiences every day. However, as I grew older, my family faced challenges, including the impact of drug and alcohol addiction. What was once a united and thriving family soon became divided, with us children placed in different homes. This difficult experience filled me with resentment, yet I still cherished the time spent with my family, even in those challenging circumstances.

Despite being exposed to things no child should see, I carried a sense of belonging, until I learned firsthand that the life of partying and addiction offers no lasting benefit. It became clear to me that the key to overcoming such challenges lies in finding something you’re passionate about and allowing yourself to change and grow. I firmly believe that everyone has a talent or calling—sometimes it just takes time and effort to discover it. Change isn’t easy, but even the smallest steps can create profound transformations.

At one point in my life, I found myself stuck in a comfort zone, with no drive, no aspirations, and no hobbies to inspire me. Trying new things, even when I wasn’t particularly good at them, brought unexpected joy. It was through these experiences that I discovered a renewed sense of purpose. I realized that the changes I needed weren’t about pleasing others, but about investing in myself and my future. With the support of those who cared about me, I came to understand that I deserved the best for my life—and I could achieve it.

I enrolled in college and took up disc golf to help manage my depression and build structure in my daily life. Over the past three years, I’ve played in more than 60 sanctioned tournaments and even qualified for the National Amateur Championships in Texas. This hobby has opened doors for me, introducing me to incredible people from all walks of life. Through disc golf, I have had the privilege of working with youth, which has deepened my understanding of the challenges people face and the resilience they possess. Seeing people, regardless of experience, find something they love brings me immense joy.

My goal is to share my passion and inspire others to pursue their own path, and I am excited to be part of C.C. WE ADAPT, where we use our lived experiences to uplift and empower others. I hope to bring the same passion and dedication to every individual I work with, helping them discover their own possibilities.
