Service Array: Health and Wellness
Hello, my name is Suzy Chopper. I came to CC We Adapt after a life changing year and many lessons learned. My oldest son was critically injured in December of 2023, which led me to leave a successful career that I poured my heart into for decades. I have been taking care of my son since his accident and lost my mother this last fall.
Exercise and staying active have always been my “go to” for stress relief, and to ensure I can continue to do the activities I enjoy as well as be able to try new ones. I took my personal training course many years ago, but never certified until this year. I am also working on a nutrition certification and doing yoga study to balance it all out.
Ironically one of my favorite words is adapt. My other is unwritten. This past year forced me to adapt to new countries, new homes, new cities, and a new way of approaching every day. It made me slow down and focus on today as it is really all we have. Every day presents a new challenge to work with and adapt to, and tomorrow is still unwritten. We can prepare for tomorrow, but we truly only have today and right now.
So right now, I want to share my lifelong passion for being active and maintaining balance. I believe that everyone can find joy in fitness as long as you take the time to find what they enjoy, and then build on it. I look forward to working with a variety of participants and helping them live their best life! Along the way, I hope my prior success and career can help more people in a positive way as well. One day, one hour, one minute, one second, one breath at a time.
